Morrison's Rogue River Lodge Pacific Northwest

Morrison's Rogue River Lodge:
Southern Oregon's premier rafting & fishing resort is located on the Rogue River in one of the most beautiful settings you will find anywhere. Originally built as a fishing lodge in 1946, Morrison's offers some of the finest Steelhead fishing in the Northwest. Family hospitality and exemplary service combine with fine dining and spectacular scenery to make Morrison's a destination resort of choice.

“Wild and Scenic Rogue Floats”:

This is the classic 50-mile float trip through Oregon’s most famous section of “wild and scenic” river. This is the heart of the state’s best “half pounder” fishing where anglers of all skill levels can enjoy excellent fishing from September through mid-November. Rife with whitewater, stunning scenery wildlife, and great fishing, this is one of the west’s truly classic trips.

Rogue River Fishing:
Steelhead will start appearing in our area of the Rogue in early to mid September.  Generally we advise mid September or later to be on the safe side.  Steelhead will fish well through the entire fall season until we close in November.  For the last couple of seasons we have experienced low numbers of Chinook Salmon spawns that have affected Steelhead feeding patterns. Techniques used by our guides are nymphing and swinging traditional Steelhead patterns. All trips provide the opportunity for wade fishing and drift boat fishing.

Morrison's Rogue River Lodge Accommodations and Meals:
Morrison's Rogue River Lodge is located 16 miles west of Grants Pass on a peaceful bend in the Rogue River. Morrison's Lodge has 9 river view cottages with fireplaces, private decks and covered parking, and 4 rooms in the main lodge. Four of the cottages are 2-bedroom and five of the cottages are 1-bedroom cottages. Each cottage and lodge room is equipped with Television, VCR/DVD, phones, private bath, refrigerator, and air conditioner. The lodge also offers a heated swimming pool, basketball court, volleyball and tennis court, putting green, and five acres of Riverfront lawn.
You can sit by the river's edge, bask in the sun on our own private beach, or go hiking and bike riding on nearby trails. Or maybe spend the day at area attractions, such as Crater Lake, Jacksonville, Ashland, or if you like wild animals, Wildlife Images Rehabilitation Center is just for you. The list of places and activities are endless. For those of you planning a meeting, retreat, family reunions, or any other private affair, they have a conference room adjacent to the main lodge.
