North Riding Point Club The Bahamas

North Riding Point Club Travel:
To get to The North Riding Point Club you will need to make travel arrangements to and from Freeport, on Grand Bahama Island.  The island is serviced directly from the mainland by several major US carriers. Arriving early in the day will enable an extra half day of fishing (included) or alternatively departing the island in the afternoon will accomplish the same end.

Once you arrive you will be met by a staff member or cab service with a sign and taken directly to the lodge.

North Riding Point Club Documentation:
US citizens must have a valid US Passport. Visas are not required.

North Riding Point Club Fishing:
In classic Bahamian style, anglers at North Riding Point Club are typically sight fishing to bonefish from the bow of a poled flats skiff. Catch rates typically range from 2-7 fish per day that average 4-5 pounds, with frequent shots at larger bonefish, as well as occasional shots at tarpon, permit and barracuda. The lodge has 7 sixteen foot Dolphin skiff with 85 Yamahas and one back-up boat.

North Riding Point Club Accommodations and Meals:
The lodge is situated in a private setting overlooking a private beach. The main lodge contains the kitchen and dinning room, and the three guest cottages are spaced along the property with attractive pathways interconnecting them.  It is our opinion that North Point Riding Club has some of the nicest angler accommodations in the Bahamas.

Note: All alcohol is included in the package price.  House wines include Australian chardonnays and merlots.

North Riding Point Club Climate:
Temperatures typically range from the low 70’s to the mid 90’s. Isolated afternoon thundershowers are a possibility year round. Wind can be factor while fishing and the sun is very strong.

North Riding Point Club Clothing:
Long sleeved, collard quick dry and cotton shirts as well as quick dry shorts and pants, sun-gloves, wide brimmed hat with ear protection, lightweight rain gear and one thin warm layer for Jan.-March. Dress at the lodge is casual.
