Trinity River, California Pacific Northwest

TRINITY RIVER SLIDE SHOW

Trinity River Fishing:

Arguably the California’s most productive steelhead stream, the Trinity fishes from September through mid-March. Though the Trinity is large enough to float, the majority of fishing is done while wading. While nymph fishing is very popular, there is ample opportunity to swing flies and even learn the art of spey casting during your trip. Trinity steelhead average from 5-7 pounders with an occasional 8-12 pounder. They are a mixture of wild and hatchery fish.

Fly Water Travel works with experienced and knowledgeable guides including Jim Andras, Chris King, Gino Bernero, Jeff Parker and others.
