Air Greenland has released their 2021 flight schedules!

We are excited to announce that Air Greenland has released their 2021 flight schedules. This means that guests to Camp North, Erfalik Lodge, and Kangia River Lodge will be able to travel from Copenhagen to Sisimuit and Maniitsoq for the upcoming 2021 season. If you are interested in a trip to Greenland in 2021 we recommend acting fast, as there is very little availability. See below for a summary of each destination and remaining availability for each.

Located on the ultra-remote southwestern coast of Greenland, the Kangia River Lodge literally blew the minds of the lucky anglers that were part of their inaugural 2017 season. Why? Consider the following. Greenland is the largest island on earth and also the world’s least-densely populated country with less than 57,000 total inhabitants. It is 1/5th the size of the US with twice the coast- line and countless untouched rivers, many of which have huge summer runs of supercharged sea-run Arctic char. Among the finest of these rivers found to date is the Kangia, a spectacularly beautiful and pristine system with fish that average 5 to 7 pounds and top 10 pounds on a regular basis.

Top Reasons to Go:

  • Experience the vast wilds and beauty of Greenland
  • Fish for high numbers of large arctic char in an unspoiled remote wilderness setting
  • Enjoy a lightly guided fishing experience with a DIY feel
  • Stay at a simple rustic lodge that was designed for hardcore anglers
  • Explore the amazing and remote Kangia River, fishing long days and covering five or more miles per day on foot

2021 Available Dates:

  • July 22-29: 4 spots
  • August 19-26: 3 spots (Hosted Trip with Fly Water Travel's Max Salzburg)

2021 Rate: €4,490 per person for a 7 night/6 day package based on double occupancy

Included: Accommodations and meals at lodge, guiding, fishing license, transfers between Manitsoq and the lodge, limited beer.
Not Included: Airfare to/from Maniitsoq, meals/drinks and last night hotel in Manitsoq, hard alcohol, staff and guide gratuities

Erfalik Lodge

It has taken considerable time and effort to finally bring forward a comfortable full-service lodge in the remote wilderness of Greenland. Now, with the opening of Erfalik Lodge, guests can enjoy Greenland’s most productive Arctic char fishing without having to rough it. Here guests will enjoy single-occupancy rooms, 24-hour power, hot showers, and tasty three-course meals. More stable and consistent fishing is hard to come by and few if any have left this remarkable system disappointed.

Top Reasons to Go:

  • Encounter the incredible wide open spaces of Greenland.
  • The first full-service lodge in Greenland.
  • Fish for aggressive wild Arctic char in a pristine environment.
  • Enjoy lightly guided fishing with a DIY feel.
  • Experience a truly international lodge where guests will interact with people from all over the world.

2021 Available Dates:

  • June 29 - July 8: 5 spots

Camp North

For the truly adventurous angler who is willing to hike hard in pursuit of Greenland’s largest sea-run Arctic char, Camp North is in a class by itself. While guests must hike a minimum of 45 minutes to reach the most productive pools, the rewards are stunning wilderness scenery and large returns of strong wild char that can exceed 18 pounds. For those willing to hike up to two hours and ferry across a lake by boat, an additional super-productive tributary awaits. Camp North is a basic wilderness tent camp where guests sleep in single-occupancy nylon tents on comfortable pads with sleeping bags. Meals will be prepared by the camp cook and served in their spacious dining tent. If you’re seeking the abundance and vigor of yesteryear, this is the program.
