Kenai Riverside Lodge

Kenai Riverside Lodge is part of an Alaskan family business that promotes ethical angling and stewardship of Alaska’s resources. They are one of the few commercial outfitters permitted to operate guided fishing trips on the Upper Kenai River within the pristine Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, where clients frequently enjoy unparalleled fishing and awe-inspiring wildlife viewing opportunities.
September is a great time to visit the Kenai as the rainbow trout are packing on weight while feeding on the abundant salmon spawn. The largest trout of the season are consistently caught at this time. Along with trophy trout, silver salmon are available throughout the river. For those that want to take a break from the fishing or entertain non-angling travel partners, guided hikes exploring the Chugach National Forest or Kenai Wildlife Refuge are a great option. The lodge can also coordinate Kenai Fjord tours which can have guests viewing glaciers, whales, sea lions, puffins, and other marine wildlife.
