On many of the world’s top Atlantic salmon rivers, bragging rights begin at 20 pounds, but on the Kola River 20 pounders are simply good fish with the braggarts bar set firmly at 30 pounds and above.
We are very pleased to announce that the Kola River, Russia’s premier fishery for trophy Atlantic salmon, is under new ownership and management! The operation will be managed on-site by a multi-year veteran of Russian Atlantic salmon camps. Additionally, the new owners have signed a long term contract for 9 private security guards on the river. These measures should minimize, if not completely eradicate, illegal fishing activity on the 35km of the Kola River that the camp will be fishing.
