Fly Water Travel is happy to offer a fantastic opportunity for spring steelhead on Prince of Wales Island in Alaska. This is adventure steelhead fishing on uncrowded rivers with Renton River Adventures, an experienced guide service with the knowledge to show anglers the best of Prince of Wales. They access several rivers via vehicle and all fishing is done while walking in and wading. The environmental conditions and the type of water will dictate how you approach the fish, but the Renton’s prefer to swing flies in a traditional fashion. There are many situations an angler can encounter here and the knowledge of David and Dillon Renton will have you fishing the right water at the right time with the right gear. This is a full lodging package with guests staying at Fireweed Lodge, truly comfortable accommodations with all the amenities one would want. All meals will be included and each day two anglers will depart with their guide. One Sunday guests fly into Ketchikan and connect with one of several air shuttle services that service Prince of Wales Island. Once in Klawock or Craig, you will be met and transferred to the lodge. Monday through Friday are full fishing days. On Saturday, guests will pack up and depart for home.
