Scott O’Donnell has once again been hard at it on the Oregon coast. Here is a shot from last week of client Bill posing quickly with a beautiful wild steelhead before its safe release. Scott is on the water nearly everyday between February and mid-April and knows these rivers intimately. He continues to be in the right place at the right time with the right gear. This last week saw rain, sleet, snow and true “winter” steelhead conditions but as you can see, success was had. As we move towards the end of the season the water and average air temperature should rise slightly. The rise in temps helps both anglers be more comfortable and the fish be a bit more aggressive to the swung fly. If you still have thoughts on getting out on the OR coast, Scott has a few days still available for the 2018 winter season.
Available dates: April 3 – 5 // April 7 – 8 // April 11 – 14
Rate: $575 per day (1 or 2 anglers)
If you want to secure any of the above dates give David a call at 800.552.2729
