Igiugig Lodge
Located right at the mouth of the Kvichak river, Igiugig Lodge provides easy access to some of the most powerful wild rainbow trout found anywhere in the world. Owner and pilot/guide Brad Waitman has over 25 years of experience flying in the Alaskan bush and guiding the waters of Bristol Bay. This small Alaskan lodge is a Fly Water favorite for warm Alaskan hospitality, stellar fishing for super charged rainbows and a highly personalized experience. The staff here will work to ensure that you’re comfortable and that every detail of your experience is attended to. The dates below are fantastic for the largest trout of the season. These steelhead like Kvichak river rainbows can be caught swinging flies with spey rods or if indicator tactics and even  fishing out of the boat is more to your liking, Igiugig Lodge can provide it. Add two fly out days to other Katmai Park trout systems and this is a week for those seeking the best of Alaska rainbow trout angling.
