Northern Oregon Coast
From February through April, the rivers surrounding the greater Tillamook Bay region on the Northern Oregon coast transform into some of the most productive and seductive winter steelhead rivers in North America. Structurally they are a “swing” fisherman’s paradise and the quarry is almost always sea bright, wild, and willing to chase a well swung fly.
Your guide, Scott O’Donnell has spent over two decades unlocking the secrets of the north Oregon coast. Along with his incredible knowledge of the water and its fish, Scott is one of the nation’s best spey casting instructors. For anyone interested in learning about angling for winter steelhead while spending time with a top notch spey casting instructor, this is a trip not to be missed.
