Clackamas River Lodge
This is a very comfortable and easy to reach destination for anglers wishing to swing flies in a productive system without the need to break the bank on travels or extra expenses. The riverside lodge is a short distance from the Portland International Airport (PDX), but once here the river surprisingly has only moderate pressure and the jet boat access allows anglers to cover many easily waded and sweet swinging runs, riffles and tailouts. The riverside lodge takes four anglers and is very comfortable with all sleeping in single rooms. Meals are prepared by the on-site professional chef. The run right out in front of the lodge is one of the best on the river. Guests also have the option to head back to the lodge for a quick warm up at any time during the day.

Oregon Coast w/ Scott O’Donnell
The northern Oregon coast has many rivers that harbor winter steelhead and we have long been paired with one of the most experienced and knowledgeable steelhead guides in the industry. Scott O’Donnell has three decades of guiding experience, two of which have been spent in the winter on Oregon’s northern coast chasing winter steelhead. Scott offers day trips with guests staying in independently arranged accommodations in and around the community of Manzanita, OR. Along with Scott’s extensive understanding of the rivers and its fish, he is a pioneer and leader in the world of spey casting. His influence on today’s skagit lines and tips have changed the way anglers target these winter fish and helped many succeed in a season that had long been looked at as the most challenging. Scott has an uncanny ability to help and teach folks to become better anglers and casters. He simply gives the folks in his boat the best shot at connecting with one of these special creatures.
