Be among the first to try your hand at one of the jungle’s most elusive and aggressive species.
Untamed Angling has recently announced a limited number of exploratory spots for their new Brazilian payara (the vampire fish) destination. Located in a wild region of Brazil not far from the renowned Kendjam program, this should prove to be a remarkable and productive adventure. The initial scouting trip, while short in duration, was very productive with many large payara hooked on flies.
Originally there were only three trips with four spots available for each trip and all 12 spots sold out quickly. Due to a cancellation we have one spot available for the week of October 7th-14th.
Note: The fires in Brazil have not affected the Xingu camp program.
Dates: October 7 – 14, 2019 (1 Spot)
Rate: $2000 + $400 Native Fees based on double occupancy. (Standard rate is $4000)
Included: Accommodation and meals at Xingu, arrival night lodging in Manaus, transfers in Manaus, charter flights and boat transfers to camp, guided fishing, fishing licenses
Not Included: $400 Native Community Fee (cash required), round trip airfare, gratuities for camp staff and guides, meals in Manaus, departure tax, all tackle
