Winter steelhead season is just around the corner! Now is the time to secure your dates during a limited window of opportunity. We are fortunate to have developed special relationships with some wonderful outfitters in our home state that dedicate their winter months to pursuing some of the biggest and brightest steelhead around. While this season does present unique challenges with weather, cold water and changing river levels, the outfitters we work with are some of the most knowledgeable and experienced around, and a day spent with them is full of education, adventure and often times success. Below you will see available dates with a few of our favorite Oregon winter steelhead outfitters for the upcoming season.

This is a great program for all skill levels. Guests stay in a riverside house along with your guides, allowing close access to the fishing grounds. It is an all inclusive package with single rooms and delicious home-cooked meals. The programs takes 2 to 4 anglers per trip. The typical package is a 3 night/3 day stay but extended packages can be accommodated depending on availability.

Oregon Coast w/ Scott O’Donnell
The northern Oregon coast has many rivers that harbor winter steelhead and we have long been paired with one of the most experienced and knowledgeable steelhead guides in the industry. Scott O’Donnell has three decades of guiding experience, two of which have been spent in the winter on Oregon’s northern coast chasing winter steelhead. Scott offers day trips with guests staying in independently arranged accommodations in and around the communities of Manzanita, Cannon Beach and Tillamook. Along with Scott’s extensive understanding of Oregon’s rivers and fish, he is a pioneer and leader in the world of spey casting. His influence on today’s skagit lines and tips have changed the way anglers target these winter fish and have helped many succeed in a season that had long been looked at as the most challenging. Scott has an uncanny ability to help and teach folks to become better anglers and casters. He simply gives the clients in his boat the best shot at connecting with one of these special creatures.
