Over the past several years Fly Water Travel has spent considerable time and energy exploring Europe’s premier destinations. While we expected to find exceptional meals and accommodations as well as a rich and varied selection of activities for travel companions, the great surprise was just how good these fisheries were in their own right. Until recently we did not think that the European region should be included on all serious trout anglers list of key angling destinations. The following is an overview of some of our favorite destinations and custom tours available in a territory that we have ignored for far too long. While Spain, Scotland, Italy and Slovenia are ideal for couples and private party touring, Greenland is best suited to the hardened anglers in search of the last great wild places.
