Winter steelhead season is upon us! For the next three months, we will be watching the graphs and dreaming of tight line grabs in steelhead-green water. We are fortunate to have special relationships with some wonderful outfitters in our home state that dedicate their winter months to pursuing some of the biggest and brightest steelhead around. While winter steelheading presents unique challenges with weather, cold water and changing river levels, the outfitters we work with are some of the most knowledgeable and experienced around, and a trip spent with them is full of education, adventure and often times success. Below you will see remaining available dates with a few of our favorite Oregon winter steelhead programs for this season.

Oregon Coast w/ Scott O’Donnell
The northern Oregon coast has many rivers that harbor winter steelhead and we have long been paired with one of the most experienced and knowledgeable steelhead guides in the industry. Scott O’Donnell has three decades of guiding experience, two of which have been spent in the winter on Oregon’s northern coast chasing winter steelhead. Scott offers day trips with guests staying in independently arranged accommodations in and around the communities of Manzanita, Cannon Beach and Tillamook. Along with Scott’s extensive understanding of Oregon’s rivers and fish, he is a pioneer and leader in the world of spey casting. His influence on today’s skagit lines and tips have changed the way anglers target these winter fish and have helped many succeed in a season that had long been looked at as the most challenging.
