Deschutes River Multi-Day Float Trips, Oregon

Space is already getting tight for the Deschutes River Salmonfly hatch during May and early June. That being said, a few openings still remain during prime dry fly dates on this marvelous river. Not only is the salmonfly hatch an adrenaline-filled adventure involving big dry flies and voracious wild “redside” trout, it is also a beautiful time to float the scenic Deschutes River canyon. The canyon walls are in bloom, the weather begins to transition from late spring into early summer and wildlife viewing opportunities abound. The Deschutes during spring is a great opportunity for both novice anglers and veteran anglers to increase their skill set fishing dry flies for trout.  If you are confident in your wading abilities, open to camping riverside in spacious wall tents and want to experience some of the best trout fishing that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, this is not an opportunity to be missed!
