Trout School at Healing Waters Lodge, Montana
Healing Waters Lodge is an ideal location for a classic Montana fly fishing school. Owners Mike and Laura Geary are passionate, sincere and dedicated to their guests having the best educational experience possible. Students will have a varied curriculum that will bring together classroom time, guided drift boat fishing and guided walk and wade fishing. In addition to the pond immediately in front of the lodge, guests will have access to multiple stillwater venues as well as the hallowed waters of the Beaverhead, Big Hole, Madison, Jefferson and Ruby rivers. Each morning will start with time in the classroom where the topics that will be covered during the remainder of the day will be introduced. As part of these morning sessions, guests will engage in discussion regarding where to fish that day and how the specific conditions play into making these important calls. Guests will have private bedrooms with an en suite bathroom and will have meals in the main lodge together after a day of learning. Healing Waters Lodge has long been a leading Rockies destination for Fly Water Travel and we feel confident that all students will leave enriched and excited to put their new skills to the test on the water.
