Only one week remains at one of the world’s best locations to chase juvenile tarpon on the fly, Isla Del Sabalo on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. Isla Del Sabalo is an operation that is only open during prime tide weeks of the season between April and September. It is during these weeks that anglers have the best opportunity to catch tarpon ranging from 5-30 lbs, with even larger fish encountered each season. Virtually all fishing is done while sight casting to rolling or feeding tarpon with floating lines and often times, top water flies. This operation needs a minimum of 4 anglers to secure a week, with guests fishing 2 per boat and sleeping 2 per room. The lodge is simple and rustic yet comfortable, with A/C and beautiful ocean views right out your front door. Don’t miss out on this chance to experience the world’s new frontier of baby tarpon fishing in 2020.
