Dear Friends and Travelers,
Change, it seems, is the only constant we can count on. We sometimes hope that things will even out, that we might catch our breath, rejuvenate, and for a brief moment, just cruise along and enjoy a predictable ride. But as we learn, life typically has bigger, more interesting plans in store for us all. It is the way of things.
In this time of stress and uncertainty, it is our commitment to all of you to handle these challenges in a calm, compassionate and fact-based manner. We are also committed to looking forward to the better times we know are in front of us. Of paramount importance is for everyone to realize that this crisis will ask a great deal from all involved, meaning guests, guides, outfitters, destinations and agents alike. No single entity can bear the brunt of these disruptions alone and all will need to participate in creating reasonable outcomes. We will be asking that our outfitters be as generous as they can, and in the same breath, we will be asking this of our guests and of ourselves.
Today’s challenges are not a guide’s, outfitters’ nor a nation’s fault, but rather our collective challenge. To date, we have been so impressed by how well the vast majority of our guests have taken less-than-perfect news and we are exceedingly grateful for those that have made these hard times easier than expected. Please know that we are here to help you navigate these challenging times and you can call us anytime at (800) 552-2729. Again we thank you for your ongoing support and understanding in these challenging times and we look forward to helping you plan your next adventure when the time is right.
In the meantime, we hope to lighten your days a little bit. As we all weather this storm, we’ll be sharing some interesting and inspiring articles, stories and photos as a reminder of fishing days past and those to come, hopefully soon.
