We’ve learned today that the prime minister of Belize has announced that the Philip Goldson International airport (BZE) will be reopened on August 15th, 2020 to allow travel to Belize. Many airlines will be selling and servicing these routes including United, American, Delta and Southwest. Belize currently has four active known cases of COVID-19 and has found 23 positive cases to date, with two deaths attributed to the virus. The government continues to take action to mitigate the spread including a nationwide state of emergency, curfew, closing of schools, closing ALL borders, and limiting social gatherings.
