Elfin Cove Resort sits on the remote northwest side of Chichagof Island in the one of the wildest and most lightly traveled regions of Southeast Alaska. The lodge is primarily a saltwater destination focusing on conventional fishing for halibut, five species of Pacific salmon, rockfish, Irish lords, red snapper, yelloweye, black sea bass, and lingcod but they offer a wide range of fly fishing opportunities as well. Depending on the time of year fly anglers can target steelhead, Dolly Varden, as well as pink and coho salmon in the local streams. Unlike many of our destinations, all gear is provided and guest are welcome to bring fish home. For those interested in activities other than fishing consider whale watching, sea kayaking, hiking, bear viewing and birding. Whether you are looking for a truly amazing fishing adventure or to get up close and personal with Alaskan wildlife, Elfin Cove Resort is a great option with stays of varying length welcome.

The staff at Elfin Cove can also arrange a special fly-out day trip to a lake for fly anglers. All of the fish you catch while staying at Elfin Cove are table-fish, meaning you can take them home to eat.
