Ruby Drake lodge is located in the heart of an 8,000-acre ranch on the Ruby River, just outside the town of Twin Bridges in southwestern Montana. In addition to the ranch’s twenty miles of private access to the Ruby River, the lodge’s unmatched public water program allows anglers to float the Jefferson, Big Hole, Beaverhead, and Madison Rivers. Drift boats are used on the larger rivers while days on the Ruby are walk and wade.

Additional Experiences:
Guests and family members have plenty of activities to fill a vacation agenda with historic places to visit like the old ghost towns of Virginia City and Nevada City and family attractions such as Bannack State Park and the Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park. Hiking and sight-seeing at these nearby points of interest are great fun for the whole family. Yellowstone National Park is one and a half hours from the lodge and is worth a side trip. Watching wildlife and birds on the ranch is another popular activity.

Accommodations and Meals:
Ruby Drake Lodge features four private cabins complete with queen beds, separate living area/reading nook, screened porch/gear storage area and a refrigerator. The cabins do not have a TV or phone. The main lodge sports a relaxing western atmosphere with a comfortable living area, fireplace and a spacious dining room. The “ranch gourmet” dinner menu features local specialties with an emphasis on true western fare.

Day 1: Arrive Ruby Drake Lodge, get settled in and prepare your gear for the next days fishing
Days 2-5: Four full days of guided fishing
Day 6: Depart lodge for home or points beyond

Typical Daily Schedule
7:00 AM – 7:15 AM: Breakfast.
8:00 AM: Depart for fishing.
12:30 PM: Break for picnic lunch.
5:30 PM – 6:30 PM: Return to the lodge.
7:30 PM: Dinner

Rates and Details

2018 Rate: $3,260 per person for a 5 night/4 day package

Included: Accommodations and meals at the lodge, guided fishing, flies.

Not Included: Round trip transportation to the lodge, fishing licenses (available at lodge), alcohol, state accommodations tax, staff and guide gratuities, tackle.

**Note:  The lodge has a small fly shop where you can purchase a limited selection of flies.
