Make new friends while enjoying a world-class fishery.
Let’s gather and celebrate the end of summer with one last hoorah in the Rockies on a women’s fly fishing trip to the Blackfoot River. Join Fly Water Travel's Riley Nelson and five other women at North Fork Crossing Lodge to fish an incredibly scenic river, relax at a comfortable lodge, and build new relationships with other passionate women anglers.
On this three-day fishing trip we’ll stay in glamping style tents and dine on fabulous food and beverage at the lodge. Most of the fishing will be on different stretches of the Blackfoot River, although there are options to fish the Bitterroot and Clark Fork Rivers as well. After fishing, the group will have time to change and cool off with a cocktail and appetizers on the back deck before dinner. This time is the group’s to enjoy, and evenings can be spent kicking back and sharing stories of time spent on the water, playing games, or walking the banks of the river.
About your host: Riley is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, and Fly Water Travel's resource on trout fishing throughout the Rocky Mountain states. As a former guide in Utah and now Fly Water Travel's Destination Manager for the western states, Riley is an enthusiastic angler who is passionate about getting more women on the water and building a community of diverse fly fishers.
Whether you are a first-time fly caster or a highly skilled angler, this trip will be an opportunity to share the many joys of the sport with a like-minded group from the comforts of a beautiful, unique, and well-run lodge setting.
