June Availability - Lower Deschutes River Float Trips, Oregon
March 3, 2021
The Deschutes is a desert oasis rife with wild resident rainbows, hearty sea-run steelhead, countless rapids, and stunning scenery.
June is a special time on Oregon's famous Deschutes River. There is still a lingering green hue on the canyon walls from the spring bloom and the temperatures begin to settle into their summertime norms. Often, waders are replaced with wet-wading gear, and the caddis and mayfly box is favored over the stonefly one. The crowds thin out, yet the fish continue to eat. Floating down this powerful river, casting your fly along the multitude of tree-lined banks, and sleeping under the stars in this gorgeous desert setting is one of the finest ways that one can spend a day in the Pacific Northwest.
Our preferred Deschutes outfitter, Renton River Adventures, has just opened their June calendar with a handful of fine dates available. You will find all of them, including additional information, below.
