Our friends at Untamed Angling welcomed thier first group of the 2021 season to the Rio Marie Mothership and sent us this trip report.
Weather: Our week was warm and we had some showers and overcast days, with temperatures between 25 and 33 C.
River and fishing conditions: The water is still dropping quickly on the Turi and Marié rivers, with cooler water temperatures, although we anticipate an increase in temperature with some sunny days ahead.
We started our week on the confluence of the Turi and Marié rivers, and we are working towards the middle section of Marié as we finish up our week. The river is in excellent fishing condition after 20 months of rest without angling pressure.
We started to see some nests and the movement of Temensis Peacock Bass improved day by day.
